During a 2024 survey carried out among founders, co-founders and C-level executives at start-ups and scale-ups from Europe, ** percent of respondents stated that in their opinion EU data privacy laws, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), had a negative impact on the conditions for starting and/or scaling a technology company in Europe. The EU AI ACT (AIA) was named by ** percent of responding executives in the same context.Â
