Porsche belongs among the most famous luxury and sports car brands in the world, known for the high performance and reliability of their cars. In 2009, Porsche merged with Volkswagen, creating an integrated working group. The Porsche brand is thus currently a part of the Volkswagen Group’s portfolio, together with the vehicle brands Audi, Volkswagen, Seat, Škoda Auto, MAN, and others. In 2023, the Volkswagen Group generated a total revenue of over 322 billion euros, with Porsche contributing some 37 billion euros, trailing only the Volkswagen and Audi car brands and proving its significance to the group.
