The data is based on a study which includes primary and secondary research as well as surveys on more than 1,400 brands, measuring more than 200 global brands.
The total index score is normalized to 100. A number above 100 shows the extent to which the brand scored above the market average.
The statistic provides information on the leading authentic brands in Canada in 2017, based on an index score. Based on the answers of Canadian consumers, it was calculated that Tim Hortons scored ** points higher than the average brand result (100 points) reaching a score of ***. Google, which in another ranking was found the most influential brand in Canada, was rated the second most authentic brand in the country along with Canadian Tire and Disney, with all three brands achieving a score of ***.
