Vacancy rates in the German office market have risen since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. In the fourth quarter of 2023, Germany's capital city, Berlin, saw the third-lowest prime office vacancy rate at *** percent. That was an increase from *** percent recorded in 2022. The city with the lowest vacancy was Cologne, where *** percent of the offices were vacant.Â
