Trust in newspapers was highest among Americans aged 35 to 44 years old, with 65 percent of respondents in that age bracket stating that they had a lot or some trust in newspapers as a news source, according to a survey released in February 2022. By contrast, those aged 65 years or above were the most likely to feel distrustful of information they read in newspapers.
