The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) handled over *** million security incidents across India, and issued over *** security alerts between January 2023 and March 2024. As the country's chief cyber threat detection and response team, CERT-In was also responsible for organizing security drills, trainings, publishing advisories and vulnerability notes. The CERT-In is a national agency for incident response set up by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY) of India under Section *** of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
