Over **** percent of Peruvians interviewed stated to use the internet to do some online search and/or check the news. That year, social media was also the most common mobile activity among internet users in the Andean country. Additionally, online calls and online banking were also among the activities with the highest growth rate, increasing around * percentage points each.
