Livestreaming of concerts and other events was an alternative to in-person events during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. As of March 2021, 70 percent of musicians surveyed said that they had livestreamed a concert or performance in the last 12 months. Furthermore, 85 percent of artists said they would continue to make livestreaming a permanent part of their performance plans even after in-person events return.
