In 2022, a survey asked Canadian consumers to express their opinion on the commitment to sustainability of grocery stores. The result showed that ** percent of people found it really important to donate food instead of throwing it out. Of significant importance were also reusable bag incentives and locally-source produce and animal products, which both scored ** percent. Furthermore, the issue that seems not to raise much concern is the electric vehicle charging stations, as ** percent of respondents were not concerned by it.
