In the financial year 2023, the Indian mortgage company HDFC lent out ** percent of its gross loans to individuals. Individual loans include home loans and improvement and extension loans amongst others. During this time the total value of gross home loans stood at over billion U.S. dollars. The remaining lending share includes corporate, construction finance, and lease rental discounting.
