In 2024, Dutch households saved  percent of their disposable income. However, the household net savings rate in the Netherlands fluctuated considerably since 2000. After reaching the lowest value of **** percent in 2006, the net savings rate peaked at **** percent in 2016, and then again during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
