In the second quarter of 2024, Mexico's mining gross domestic product (GDP) amounted to approximately * billion Mexican pesos, a slight decrease when compared to the previous quarter of that same year. The lowest figure within the indicated period was reported in the second quarter of 2020, as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country. Nevertheless, the Mexican mining industry's GDP has since shown signs of recovery.
