In 2023, the Indian private equity and venture capital sector saw 303 exits worth over ** billion U.S. dollars. This was an increase from last year both in terms of value and volume.
Large exits
The largest exit occurred with Paytm, where Alibaba, Berkshire Hathaway, and SoftBank Corp sold their stakes. Coforge and Mankind also saw significant exits, providing substantial profits to their investors.
