In 2021, Hilti made over 5.9 billion Swiss francs in net sales. The Liechtenstein-based manufacturing company provides tools, safety systems, software and other value-added solutions for the
construction industry.
Hilti’s net sales grew by nearly 48 percent between 2011 and 2019, with 2015 marking the only year when figures declined. In 2020 however, due to the coronavirus pandemic, Hilti's net sales decreased again.

rise in employment figures. As of 2021, it employed over 31,100 people worldwide. That same year, the company spent 373 million Swiss francs on
research and development.
