Most of the students in upper secondary education in Sweden in 2022 were between 16 and 18 years old. Of these, students aged 16 made up the largest age group with over 113,000. Around 17,000 were aged 19 years, whereas 4,500 were aged 20. The total number of upper secondary education students in Sweden has increased since 2015.
