Between the first quarter of 2020 and the fourth quarter of 2022, smartphone users worldwide encountered more mobile phishing attacks on their personal devices than on employee-issued devices. The share of users experiencing a mobile phishing accident through their personal device in the last measured quarter was over 53 percent, while around 22 percent of enterprise-owned devices saw phishing attacks.
