The value of active urban projects in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) reached around 555 billion U.S. dollars in 2022. Oil and gas active projects came second at a value of around 381 billion U.S. dollars. The total number of active projects in the GCC in 2022 was around 27 thousand active projects valued at around 1.6 trillion U.S. dollars.
