Commodity imports into Morocco were largely of petroleum oils other than crude, as expenditures made on them reached over nine billion U.S. dollars in 2022. Additionally, petroleum gases and other gaseous hydrocarbons accumulated a value of nearly 2.6 billion U.S. dollars. As of the same year, expenses made on importing wheat and meslin reached around 2.5 billion U.S. dollars in the country.
