From 2019 to 2020, there was an increase in global notebook PC shipments for each of the various operating systems: Windows, Chrome, MacOS, and others. This does not entirely come as a surprise as remote working and e-learning continues worldwide due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. Although Chrome is not the largest operating system in terms of shipments, it still saw the largest annual year-on-year growth of ** percent. More specifically, notebook PC shipments with the Chrome operating system went from only **** million units in 2019 to **** million units shipped worldwide in 2020.
