With an overall score of 46.33 in the IMD World Digital Competitiveness Ranking (out of a maximum of 100) in 2023, Argentina ranked 61st out of a total of 64 countries included. Within the technology factor, which quantifies the landscape enabling the development of digital technologies, Argentina occupied one of the lowest positions. The factor in which the South American country performed best was future readiness, in which it ranked 49th. The study is published every year and assesses the competitiveness level of economies to adopt and explore digital technologies leading to transformation in business, government, and society in general.
