First case of a person infected with the novel coronavirus in Guatemala was reported on March 13, 2020 (Friday). The following weekend — March 14 and 15 —, 12.71 percent of Guatemalan population watched TV on average, compared to 10.95 percent the weekend earlier. One week later, during the weekend of March 21 and 22, the share increased further to 14.54 percent.
