The survey was conducted in 2003, 2007, 2012 and 2017 among 1,200 households from the areas of National Capital Region (NCR), Balance Luzon (areas within Luzon but outside NCR), Visayas, and Mindanao. Each household had two respondents (one adult aged 18 and older and one child aged between 7 and 17 years).
